Hope your summer is going well...always too busy, but what fun to be out with the flowers, gardens, and kids (grandkids)! It's been busy here, too, getting ready for town festivals, new Block of the Month, samples for new fabrics, and quilt shows (thank you to all of you that came and visited our booths at the MN Quilters' Show and in Waverly)! So, I'm glad to be back to "normal" ~ whatever that is!!
Plain and simple ~ we need to reduce inventory to get ready for new fabrics coming, we are out of room! Happy Shopping!! The new lines are rolling in and once again I'm faced with where to put it all...Conrad says he won't build anymore shelves..so we are letting go of some oldies but goodies...more on the "Good Bye" rack...many, many bolts/lines on sale "buy 3 yards ~ get the 4th yard free". It's a good time to get those backings, or start that quilt that you've always wanted to do in that special colorway you've been dreaming about.

What's new????
We are so happy to present Holiday Chorus, a wonderful Block-of-the-Season program by Nancy Davis Murty from Bee Creative Studios. Bring in the holiday season, with this beautiful quilt made with traditional piecing, set on point, in rich hues of brown, gold, green, and red fabrics that accent the gorgeous, handpainted songbird panel. You will be creating a stunning 68 x 68 throw which hi-lights five of the six birds ~ the Wren, Nuthatch, Cardinal, Titmouse, Christmas Robin and Chickadee.
These fabrics are not limited to the holidays at all! With its warm colors and a little sparkle it is so beautiful you can leave it up all winter. This is one block-of-the month program you won’t want to miss out on! The larger quilt (87" x 100") is displayed in the shop now!
We will start the program on August 19th 1-3 pm and 6-8pm.Other sessions are Sept. 16, October 21, and Nov 18. (the 3rd Tuesday August-Nov.) After the presentation, stay in the new classroom and sew on this month's blocks and enjoy sewing time with friends and refreshments.
In August through November, receive a monthly kit containing the pattern step and fabric for that month, a monthly recipe, and several extra coordinating projects.
