  • Scrap Therapy Club 
    First Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. OR
    Third Thursday 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
    $10.00 [Space is limited so sign up early.]
    If you are new to Scrap Therapy, Vicky will show you the essentials and then the rest of the time is for you to cut and sew! She'll also have instructions for the project of the month, treats, a door prize, show 'n tell, what's new in the shop, and ideas with a demo.

  • Year in a SnapJanet Selck is a very creative artist/pattern designer.  We are using Quilter's Dozen Plus for our monthly club in St. Ansgar (Second Tuesday evening and Third Wednesday mornings). These will be kitted and available at the meetings or by mail.

    Year in a Snap separateA Year in a Snap ($20) .....set them all together to make one lovely quilt, or........sew each month to hang separately or "snap" them on to the background piece.

    Kits available each month.... prices vary depending on construction method (a little more fabric needs to be sent for paper piecing) July's Sailboats $19.50, August's Watermelons $11.00 One group meets the second Tuesday at 7 pm. (a day group will be starting up .. tentively the 3rd Wednesday at 11 am... Call to sign up and verify the time.) or we can mail them to you, also!! (Flat rate mailer $4.95)

  • Turning PagesWe also, are offering the Turning Pages patterns in kits. Each pattern has the background plus four monthly blocks. Background kit is $16.99, the September Pencils is $8.99. Pattern #3 below is $9.75.

  • Autumn Leaves

    Choose to make a three or four-block table runner or a four-block wallhanging from another great pattern by Eleanor Burns of Quilt in a Day.  Class bonus: pattern variation to make a two leaf runner or add some applique to make your leaf look like a turkey.

  • Beginning Paper Piecing
    Sunday, August 29

    Discover why this method of quilting is so popular when you see how accurate your piecing can be!  Learn the basics of sewing on a paper foundation while you make a notions pouch to carry your rotary cutter and other supplies.  If you can sew on a straight line and count, you can paper piece!

  • Snail Takes a Detour

    The next project from that wonderful book Scrap Basket Surprises. This Snail’s Trail variation needs high contrast between the light and dark fabrics for the design to appear. Use Jelly Roll or Bali Pop strips, fat quarters, or raid your scrap basket.

    Choose one, two, or three sizes of these cute bags that close with a snap!  [A metal tape measure is the secret.] Have fun with prairie point handles and other embellishments. Bet you can’t make just one!
